Prismatic Pink was launched on 9 October 2024, twenty years after I made my first blog. This is my tenth personal blog (I also ran several collaborations with friends). I explained some of my reasons behind creating another blog here, but I also wanted to keep a detailed record for future reference.
At first, it was just meant to be an English version of my previous domain: my initial plan was to write magazine-like posts, maybe focusing on my travels, but then I found the web revival scene and rapidly shifted focus to something more fun and enjoyable. Now I am trying to learn more about HTML, CSS and pixel art to incorporate them into my layouts like I used to do.
I want to create the perfect balance between nostalgia and modernity, not only visually but also in the themes covered.
This is my blogging timeline (sorry, I won’t disclose their names or other personal information).
01/05/2004 – 26/11/2004 – First blog
Hosted in: blig.ig.com.br (defunct)
It had a Love Hina layout, even though I had never watched it (but I read some manga after that!), just because it was the only pink and kawaii layout available. lol
I quit this blog because the platform wouldn’t allow HTML editing.
Main themes: my life2005? – Second blog
Hosted in: weblogger.terra.com.br (defunct)
I don’t know the exact duration of this blog because it’s unavailable in the Web Archive. The only thing I know about it, from reading other blog posts, is that some anonymous weirdo insulted me and I deleted this blog.
I also quit this blog because the platform was always crashing, it was terrible.
Main themes: dolls, pixel art30/05/2006 – 01/10/2006 – Third blog
Hosted in: blogspot.com
It basically had the same name as the previous one, I only changed the platform.
Main themes: dolls, pixel art17/02/2007 – 22/03/2008 – Fourth blog
Hosted in: blogspot.com
It was only in this blog that I got to create my own layouts (almost) from scratch. I used Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Front Page.
Main themes: dolls, pixel art, anime, manga09/07/2008 – 17/12/2008 – Fifth blog
Hosted in: zip.net (defunct)
This blog was almost the same thing as the previous one, but with a different name and different platform. I wanted to try something different, but, to be honest, blogspot is superior. It’s still available and zip.net isn’t.
Main themes: dolls, pixel art, anime, manga17/12/2008 – 13/10/2009 – Sixth blog
Hosted in: webs.com (defunct)
It was only a change of platform. Oh, and this one wasn’t only a blog. It was a whole website.
I really LOVED this website! I’m so sad that the Web Archive didn’t save the pictures. However, I also had to quit this platform because the free version of Webs didn’t have enough disk space. It also wasn’t HTML-customizable, but I was okay with that.
Main themes: anime, manga, drawings10/12/2009 – 08/02/2010 – Seventh blog
Hosted in: wordpress.com
It was my only blog in English!!
I only quit this blog because I grew older and wanted to sound more professional (ick), so my next two blogs were under my real name. WordPress.com is also not HTML-customizable, but I was okay with that.
Main themes: nail polish03/09/2013 – 07/06/2015 – Eighth blog

I made this blog during my uni years, so I used to write pseudo-intellectual articles. lol
I quit this blog because I bought my own domain, but they had the same name.
Main themes: literature, personal opinions15/09/2016 – 26/03/2021 – Ninth blog

This was my very first domain. I talked a bit about it here.
